Radicalisation Awareness Network (I22-NL)

Description

RAN makes the exchange of information and expertise possible. The network is subdivided into different working groups. Some working groups focus on a sector, such as the police, mental health services or the prison system. Other working groups are intersectional and focus, for example, on the prevention of radicalization, trajectories for de-radicalization or making use of the possibilities of the Internet and social media for counter-noise. The results from the working groups and the RAN expertise are included in the formulation of European policy. Member States can also adopt policy recommendations from RAN.
